Virtual Morning Report - October 13, 2026 - Jaundice

In a patient with jaundice and a hepatocellular pattern of transaminitis (AST 656, ALT 787) + a strongly positive ANA, elevated IgG, and a plasmacytic infiltrate on biopsy, autoimmune hepatitis must be considered even when the patient has recent herbal supplement use, because DILI can mimic or unmask AIH.
